This light is a knock out!!! It is really bright and it's heavy enough to knock out any intruders! I keep this mag light by my bed and sleep like a baby. One thing I really like is that you can change the width of the beam by twisting the top of the flashlight near the bulb. If you twist it one way it widens the circle of light and twist it the other way and it makes a small intense beam. In all, this is the best flashlight I have ever owned!Customer Review: Just as bright - if not brighter

I'll admit I was skeptical that an LED flashlight could be as bright as my last 4-cell maglight - but it really is! The light is more even than a normal bulb and it appears brighter because it has a very slightly blue tint.
While it has a blue tint, the LED light is not like most of the BLUE-BLUE LED lights you have seen elsewhere. It just has a slight tint and really is kinda nice.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a serious flashlight.
