Tools and Hardware Reviews of Magazine FilesCustomer Review: Sturdy Plastic Summary: 4 Stars
I'm an elementary school teacher, and needed something for the students to keep books in. I didn't want cardboard because I feel it would have been a waste of money. I LOVE these colorful files. Sometimes the bottom will cave in, but it's SO EASY to put back together. My students can even do it themselves.
Customer Review: Stylish and Cheerful Summary: 5 Stars
These magazine holders are stylish and cheerful. Product meets my expectations. Delivery was fast. Assembly was simple.
Customer Review: They don't make them any flimsier than these Summary: 1 Stars
Files are delivered flat and are assembled by folding the plastic. There is no reinforcement along the seams or along the base, therefore you can immediately see that they do not hold their shape at all and require being stuffed full of sturdy magazines in order to remain upright. I am not sure what these magazine holders are intended to do... but you can't hold magazines in them and expect them to stay upright unless the following conditions are met:
a) they are completely full of very sturdy and squared off magazines, and/or...
b) they are stabilized by holders, books or what have you on either side
For my purpose, which is to actually hold magazines and expect the file to remain upright without supports, they are utterly inadequate.
Customer Review: did not hold up to the job Summary: 1 Stars
I bought them to save magazines for knitting. The boxes are difficult to put together and fall apart after being used.
Customer Review: ok Summary: 3 Stars
I was expecting something a little more sturdy. If you place these between bookends or on anything with closed ends, its fine. Otherwise anything heavy in the makes the whole row fall down.
