Do not buy this blanket. We bought this blanket and loved the softness to it and within one month one of the controls read the E message. We returned the blanket and purchased another identical thinking it was just a lemon and we loved the softness to it and the warmth of it. Well within 2 months one of the controls did the same thing. We will never buy a West Point Martek item again. We are now looking for a different one. I just love vellex blankets they give warmth without weight. Their soft velvety texture fits with any decor from luxurious to everyday. I began using them because I have allergies. Many allergists recommend them, they are hypo-allergenic and can withstand frequent washings and still look great, no fading, shrinking or pilling. After purchasing my first blanket I learned that these blankets were perfect for year around use, they seem to keep in just the right amount of warmth no matter what the temperature. My husband doesn't like many blankets because he gets too hot, I usually get cold. Vellux blankets are the only blanket we can use and both feel comfortable. We have them on every bed in our house. I order a good deal of items from Amazon, always reading reviews before making a decision. This is the first review I felt compelled to write. The blanket was unfinished at two ends, and there was a two inch cut in the material in one corner. For $20, I think you would do much better heading to your local mall. This is not plush at all, and it looks like a kid threw it together. It will be going back.
