A superb product that really does "lock" your door when you're inside. I use it in my apartment, where building workers have used building keys to enter without even knocking! They cannot do that now. I love my Master Lock -- but wish it had a key-lock mechanism so I could lock it when I leave home. Still, I highly recommend it as an extra measure of security when you're at home. It would be hard to push it in without destroying the door.Customer Review: A good way to add a layer of security.

We bought this and use it as a tension bar in our sliding glass door. My concern was our toddler getting out and no one hearing him. We did the dowel in the bottom track and he figure it out pretty quickly. So this is jammed up high and it is pretty easy to get out and put back in.Customer Review: A viable, but not complete, alternative for home security.

Lightweight, and easy to manage. It's not going to keep someone out if they REALLY want in, but they'll make enough noise in the process to warn you to grab your phone/baseball bat/bazooka.
Not a complete solution, but a good step.

This is a good product and at a good price. It eliminates "maintenance" from arbitrarily entering your apartment (while you're home) without your knowledge or prior notice. It is simple to put in place and equally simple to remove. It functions as designed.
