This lock is a basic deterrent from bike theft. Any lock is much, much better than no lock. It's not great quality and if someone really wants to steal your bike, they could easily cut through this thing. So, don't use it to secure things that you really really don't want to get stolen. I also liked it because it was small and easy to carry around.Customer Review: just okay

I bought this cable lock for my bike. And it works most of the time, but I found that sometimes it isn't long enough to wrap around trees. Also, the combo lock doesn't rotate 360 degrees, so it makes it difficult to connect the two pieces.Customer Review: looks heftier than the photo

I purchased this bike lock for my mom for Christmas. It would be a fine lock for someone who is either not all that worried about their bike being stolen or those who live in such a safe neighborhood that you could probably leave your bike outside overnight without worry of it beig stolen. The cable is thinner that it appears in the photo. The lock tumbler is tiny as well. If you really want to protect your bike from being stolen, you better go with a heftier lock.
