Tools and Hardware Reviews of Master Magnetics #07218 Magnetic HookCustomer Review: Good Hooks Summary: 5 Stars
I use these on my refrigerator to hold my measuring cups. They do the job nicely.
Customer Review: Great Strong Hook Summary: 5 Stars
This hook is very strong. I'm hanging a calendar on a smooth curved refrigerator door. The 2" magnet is padded so it won't scratch. When looking for magnetic hooks I was concerned about getting one too weak, but I think this is perfect. It's a little hard to move, but the padding makes it OK. I want it to HOLD.
Customer Review: Magnet not what Amazon originally pictured Summary: 2 Stars
The day I ordered this the item that was pictured was a sturdy but stylish oval hook magnet. What arrived, and what is pictured for the item today, is a round magnet exactly what I bought for $2 at Lowe's and for which I already own a dozen. Total with shipping is $6.14 for an item I rejected and wanted to replace. What a bait and switch. If it hadn't been for the picture changing between when I ordered and today, I wouldn't be as upset.
Customer Review: Magnetic Organizing Scheme Acheived! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these magnetic hooks to hang clipboards on my chalkboard and they work like a charm! They are sturdy and support a lot of weight--a whole class of science reports--without sliding down. They even have a sticker on the back to "protect against scratches."
Only drawback I've found ended up being helpful in the end. The hook is a full-on hook, meaning that the hook is almost 3/4 of a circle which you can see in the picture where it holds the worklight, so it isn't convenient to take the clipboards off. This turned out to be a good thing, because now I never misplace my clipboards, but just release the papers they are holding or put new papers in.
Overall: excellent product. Best organizational purchase I've made for my classroom in 5 years.
Customer Review: Strongest magnetic hook period. Summary: 5 Stars
This 20 lb magnetic hook worked well at hanging my heavy winter coats on the metal entry doors of my home. However, it would fall when I piled more than 2 coats per hook. So, FYI, a 20 lb magnet does NOT mean it can hold 20 lbs. It just has 20 lbs of strength that it is pulling on the surface horizontally that causes enough friction to hold my 5 lb winter coat vertically.
