I LOVE this light! I put it on a table at the top of my stairs and it works perfectly! I have it on the sensor mode and love that it shuts off after a few seconds automatically.

I bought this light for my bathroom. Sometimes I do get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and it is perfect! Also comes on if I happen to come in there to just brush my teeth. I have told my grandchildren it is "magic" and they find it fun too and marvelous how it just comes on when you are 5 feet or over away. I am buying another.Customer Review: Dark room assistance

This light and one with three lamps were bought specifically to temporarily light our bedroom and bathroom for middle-of-the-night calls of nature. They both rest on their bases and don't have to be attached to walls, which works best for us: one on a bureau near the bed and one on the back of a wide tub ledge. We moved them around for the best effect and best angles for the sensors and the lamps. Their locations also keep our cats from setting off the sensors. The one-lamp version would work in both locations since it is quite bright enough, and its translucent cover softens the intensity. The three-lamp version with the clear cover is more than adequate for our bedroom area and, in fact, is too bright to be looked at directly. If you have a similar dark-room situation, try the one-lamp version first. The reviews guided my purchase.Customer Review: Didn't last very long.

The light worked for about 8 months and then the LED light stopped responding. I would have returned the item if it had been in the return period
