Tools and Hardware Reviews of Maxxima MLS-01 Occupancy Sensor LED LightCustomer Review: Maxxima MLS 01 Sensor light Summary: 4 Stars
Pros: Not bad for a night light, perfect for small hallways, doorways
auto shut-off,built in light sensor, motion activated. You can hang
it or just placed it on any flat surface or put some double tapes
Cons: Manual selector switch is not well built, I think from time to
time this switch will be pull off.
Not bad at all compared to other motion sensing lite.
Customer Review: Maxxima MLS-01 Occupanccy Sensor LED Light Summary: 5 Stars
This light is great for use where no electrical outlet is available. It is very sensitive to movement and has good light output. Excellent for a night light in hallway or stairs. I am very pleased with the performance of this product and would purchase again.
Customer Review: Maxxima Portable Sensor Light - Does what it Says! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought two of these lights and are delighted with them!
They really do have the range they claim. One, I placed on my husband's dresser in the bedroom (am always tripping over his laundry basket when he forgets to put it away). And it immediately turns on as soon as I enter the doorway (approx. 13 feet away).
The other is in the livingroom on the windowsill, so when he gets up in the middle of the night for a snack, it immediately turns on so he's not tripping over anything or walking into the corners of furniture.
It is a bright light (but not overly so), and stays on long enough to pass through the room ...and if I want it to stay on, I can either flip a switch on it OR keep moving into it's sensor range.
This is a GREAT item for dark areas of your home. AND it works just like it says it does.
I highly recommend!
Customer Review: No more stumbling around in the dark Summary: 5 Stars
I hate it when I stumble off to the bathroom in the middle of the night and have to turn on the lights which are blaring bright. I wanted to get an LED night light and the issue came up that there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom.
So I bought three of these units - one for each bathroom and one to take traveling (hotel bathrooms have the same issue).
The units only come on if it's dark and they sense motion - so it works really well. I checked the batteries the other day and they look to be fully charged still - so the battery drain is very low.
I actually found them a little too bright - so I made lenses covers from some translucent blue material.
I'd highly recommend these units. They are very inexpensive and work exceptionally well.
Customer Review: Okay for intended usage - $$$$ Energy Savings-BUT not as bright as 10 LED Summary: 5 Stars
UPDATED after week - not as bright as hoped - more style maybe but not as good as SE Wireless Motion Sensor Light - 10 Super-Bright LED
Maxxima MLS-01 Occupancy Sensor LED Light
Have placed at entrance to Large den allowing plenty of lighting to cross room to lamps w/o having to constantly switch ceiling light fixture on/off - ergo the $$$$ saving in the long run.
It does take 4 AA Batteries - We use Moonrays - rechargables in all
Adding these - Maxxima MLN-10 LED Night Light with Sensor (Pack of 4) already in 3 outlets on dark side of room - and one will never stumble around 3 desks and 4 bookcase cabinets.
If U have one that is inactive [unplugged] for a while - plug in - it will take a day or so to get going again - thot one had burned out - it hadn't.
These allow room for surge bar plugs under them when placed in top of the outlet
