My Ice Cube make was having major problems. Ice Cubes were hollow and Ice was sticking on the White Prongs that pop the cubes out. I called Amana and they were no help so I figured that the Cube maker was not getting enough water flow.
I replaced with this filter and now the Ice Cube maker is like new and the water shoots out of the dispenser like crazy. What used to take 25-30 seconds to fill a glass of water now takes 3-5 seconds.
So if you are having Ice Cube issues or poor water flow buy this.
It's a little expensive for a water filter but it's worth it.
Oh and the water tastes good too.

I checked them all, and this was the best price for a single pack filter. The shipment was quick and accurate. And yes, even including the cost of shipping it came out to cost less! It is an OEM bulk pack item, but hey, you just throw the box and extra paper work away anyway. Instructions are not needed unless you lack total common sense to flip, turn, and snap and your done ability. Try this guy and save, you will not be sorry.
