Tools and Hardware Reviews of McCulloch MC-1275 Heavy-Duty Steam CleanerCustomer Review: 2 thumbs up Summary: 5 Stars
works well. I like that it makes steam for almost an hour before you have to refill. small enough to use in a small apartment bathroom. worked great on grout and tile.
Customer Review: A Dream Machine Summary: 5 Stars
Two friends at work own this cleaner and were just raving about it.....I am delighted I listened to them! I placed the order on a Friday and it arrived on Tuesday.
It is very well made and really is NOT all that loud as reviews have stated. Also, the pressure is very strong despite a few comments (which almost kept me from getting this and I am glad I did not listen).....I was able to clean my barbecue grate which is quite a feat! The steamer is lightweight and travels around the house like a dream. So far, besides my barbecue, I have used it on garbage pails, windows, inside of kitchen drawers, built up gunk on my laundry area floor, stainless steel appliances, outdoor furniture, new shower curtain to take out wrinkles, base boards and I am still looking for things to clean...

Got this product to remove solar film from my car windows. Love the fact this unit has a big tank, so I could work for an hour or so. Produces excellent steam, does what it is suppose to do. Found myself cleaning my rims on my card, cleaning bathroom sink, lots of other uses. This is an excellent product.
Customer Review: A great machine at a great price... Summary: 4 Stars
I have owned this machine for about a week now. When it arrived, I got it out and the only assembly required was to attach a "handle" of sorts with a screw driver the company included in the package. Wonderful! At once I was steam cleaning my kitch floor...which was quite dirty. Next was the inside of the oven, the burners, the stove top, the kitchen sink...WOW! The only reason I give this 4 stars is I wish it had just a bit more "oomph" behind the steam...
Since the initial use I have cleaned two entire bathrooms (without chemicals - yay!) and steamed every hard floor in the house. I also used it on a couple of spots on my carpets...just a quick steam and blot with a clean rag and VIOLA - no more spots! Also WONDERFUL on mirrors, bathtubs and windows. No streaks, no spots and only water to wipe up.
Previously I owned a "stick" steam mop...it was ok for the floors, but cost only $20 less that this model which does so much more! :) It broke and I have been on the look since. I am glad I made this purchase. If you are in the market for a steam cleaner in the $100 range...this is the one for you! Oh yea - and DON"T buy any special pads for the floor attachment. It comes with one and you can simply use old towels, rags, etc. This model has a clip-on feature. No velcro. Good job! Also has a trigger lock feature - which is nice for long steams (like floors).
Happy steaming!
Customer Review: A great steam cleaner! Summary: 5 Stars
I was pleasantly surprised at how functional the McCulloch is. I had previously owned a large Euro-pro that I loved, but it had died. I figured I was going down in quality because the McCulloh was $150 cheaper. Except for the exteriors (Plastic vs steel), the McCulloch fills all my needs. I espcially like the long hose and the ability to lock down the steam button. I recently defrosted my large freezer in less than half the time it usually takes. I steam-cleaned the large kitchen floor and the kitchen so far. There are a lot of attachments and they look just like the Euro-pro's plus more. Only had one mishap. I hadn't installed the handle correctly, so make sure it is tightened down. They even give you a long screwdriver to do that!
