Customer Review: A personal big mistake

I bought it two years ago to replace a cheaper Miele that was still working and luckily did not throw away.
It is good for carpeting and if you have a big house and no need to store things under the beds or sofas.
Make sure that you check the area to clean BEFORE you start vacuumimg. Pick up everything that is more than 1/25th of a inch long like pencils, pins, paper pieces, toothpicks etc. otherwise you are in BIG troubles
If you are like me with a couple or rugs and stuff stored all over forget about it! The angle of the handle, if anything gets stuck is a nightmare!
Remember that you must clean the carpet cleaner often particularly if the women (or men) in the house have long hair.
It can be done but it's tedious: better if everyone is head shaved so you don't have the long hair stuck.
I'm bald but my wife, sister in law and two daughters are not.
If you are like me buy a $200.00 one and save the rest.
If you have a large house with open spaces it is as excellent as many other cleaners but you still need to check the area first.
