Tools and Hardware Reviews of Milwaukee 0490-22 4-Volt Lithium-Ion Screwdriver Kit

Customer Review: Milwaukee does it again!
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this tool to do electrical work. When putting in plugs and switches etc, it gets tiresome to tighen all those screws manually. This makes the task easier. Ive had another brand before but nothing like this. The torque cut-off is great. No more broken plugs from over tightening. The battery last and last (it comes with two). One hand tool/bit change is a nice feature. Trigger lock keeps you from running the battery down while in storage. The only option needed is a led. I recommend this to the pro as well as the handyman. Steve Davis

Customer Review: Milwaukee power
Summary: 5 Stars

Realy good screwdriver well worth the money holds a charge for ages and charge is strong all the way till the end no drained performance from battery running out . Product comes with two lithium batteries , screwdriver and charger
charger is for a 110v supply so if you live in new zealand like me you will need a voltage converter I got one off amazon for around $15 dollers nz .One thing would do also is buy a set of power screwdriver bits as this screwdriver only comes with one philips bit standard hex driver bit

Customer Review: Must have a different tool.....
Summary: 1 Stars

I'm sorry to say I don't agree with anyone else who reviewed this thing. I purchased it for $19 from Home Depot on Black Monday and thought I was getting a huge bargain given that it was $60 here at Amazon.

This is the most anemic tool I have ever used. It has absolutely no power. It's probably good for taking the screws out of switchplates but beyond that I'm not sure it has any use. The first time I tried to use it to screw something in, it overloaded itself and stopped working. It must have some sort of overload protection (a good thing).

I can't recommend this tool for the $19 I paid for it, let alone the money they are asking for it.

Customer Review: My husband loves his Father's Day gift
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband says that this is an ideal tool. Not too small or too big, plenty of power and versatility for the Tool Man tool chest.

Customer Review: One negative comment
Summary: 4 Stars

I have owned this product for several months and find it to be a good tool. I agree with most everthing the other reviewers say. The only problem I have found is the way the battery attaches to the tool, it's not that great. The battery doesn't seem to lock very solid and the battery has come out in my hand during use and nearly always separates from the tool if dropped. If you place your hand on the back of this tools during use, this might be an inconvience for you. Otherwise a layer on vinyl tape will hold it secure until recharge time. I'll rate it 4 stars, it has good power, comfortable grip, and long lasting battery life.
