Tools and Hardware Reviews of Mirka 23-615-AP Gold 5-Inch 8-Hole Dustless Hook-and-Loop Sanding Disks, 10 Each of 5 GritsCustomer Review: Long lasting Summary: 5 Stars
These work very well and last quite a long time. The price Amazon sells them for makes them an excellent value and the assortment is a great way save money as opposed to buying smaller quantities in stores or bulk packs of each grit. Perhaps of no consequence to others, but I am quite glad these are not yet another cheap Chinese made product, they are made in Norway.
Customer Review: Mirka 23-615-AP 5" 8 Hole Dustless Hook and Loop Sandpaper Summary: 5 Stars
Generic name to me but works well and lasts as well as any other I have used.
Customer Review: Mirka 5" 8-Hole Assorted Grits Hool & Loop Sanding discs Summary: 4 Stars
This product is a good value and is what it is. The dustless hook and loop sanding disc system is the only way to go. When combined with a compatible palm sander, such as a DeWalt or Porter Cable, (I have the DeWalt) and a vacuum system it is virtually dustless.
Customer Review: Mirka 5-Inch 8-Hole Assorted Grits Dustless Hook-and-Loop Sanding Disks Summary: 5 Stars
I am new to using this type of sanding. The Porter-Cable sander, which I purchased, along with these Mirka disks has exceeded my expectations. I was used to changing paper fequently on my 1/4 sheet finishing sander... with this set-up I change disks when moving to a finer grit... and the used disks seem like new! I was cautious about the price of this type of sanding system, but it works very well. I will be purchasing more Mirka products, they are worth their cost.
Customer Review: Mirka Hook&Loop Sandpaper Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased the Mirka Hook and Loop (assorted grits) sandpaper along with a new sander. So far the sandpaper has worked well. It is easy to change grits, tenaciously sticks to the sander and is fairly durable. The finish is good although I still do final sanding with a block by hand with garnet paper(on wood). This paper is not cheap but the convenience more than compensates for the cost.
