These turned out to be just what I was looking for. Used them in my finished basement to redicrect the ceiling vents from blowing directly on people. Magnets are plenty strong to hold these to the ceiling vents - either the manufactuer is providing different magnets these days or the people that complained about this issue in earlier reviews inhaled too much from the 20 coats of paint they applied to their vents.Customer Review: Keeps air off my face at night

I really like this product - before air was blowing on my face during the night when the system would come on. So it solved the problem for me.
Installation was a snap - all I had to do was attach the magnets to each side of the ceiling vent.
Plus it's clear so no one can really see it unless they are looking.
I like it.

I bought this as a gift for my Parents summer home, (among other gifts for Christmas). This won't be used for many months, but I can see by the construction that it's a better product than what they currently use.
