I am really enjoying my clock. It's working very well for me, though sometimes I do have to repeat myself to get it to understand. The small buttons on the back are not practical for me since I have vision problems, but the voice and touch commands are invaluable. I find that if I speak too precisely, it doesn't understand, but if I talk in a normal tone, at normal speed, it's fine.
The features I appreciate most are the graduated sound levels of the alarm and that it stays dark at night unless you command it to tell you the time/temp/date/nightlight.
I have purchased this for other members of my family and originally bought it at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $29.99 using their weekly discount coupons. I think it's a wonderful gift for those with mobility or sight issues and would definitely recommend it.

I was so intrigued with this gadget and it's potential as an assistive technology device, I failed to notice several things until it arrived. One has to manually set the date and year. This is not too inconvenient; but the company Website does not mention the exception. Mine cannot say, "Six o'clock." It says, "Sih-oh-clock." Generally, the voice is exceptional.
The advertising said, "No more small buttons and no more impossible programming. Just speak, and Moshi listens." When it comes to date/year setting and choosing features, the "button" statement is simply not true. It is very hard to see the button labels, which are not colored for visibility.
This device could use bigger buttons and easier-to-read button and switch labels. Customer service is excellent. In all, I am pleased.

For me this is a great clock. I have no issues with the unit. I find the buttons on the back that allow me to control the volume and nightlight settings are great. You can set the volume to high, medium, and low. my other clocks had 1 to 2 volume levels. The Button for the nightlight allows you to set it to one color, low toned blue, or allow it to go through 6 fun colors. To get the voice commands to work correctly you must speack the command as it say's too. You can not leave out any words such as when turning the alarm off I tried "turn off alarm" and this did not work. You must say full command "Turn off the alarm". I would give 5 stars if it had a radio.Customer Review: For my son.

I returned the clock because it was more aggravating than anything. The idea is appealing, and might be great, but this version really stinks (not to put too fine a point on it!).
1. I did figure out how to get the sleep sounds to work, although they are pretty awful, and the volume can't be adjusted. Not only that, but they last just 5 minutes, the point of which I fail to understand. I went back to my 60-minute ocean CD, which is much better.
2. The volume of the voice prompts is loud and can't be changed; how did they expect someone to check the time in the dark of night without waking the other person in the bed?
3. The nightlight cycles thru the 6 colors, and some are too bright. The red one would be great, but you can't select a single color.
4. To set the alarm, you have to listen to the explanation EVERY time; why is that? The voice prompts should all be short, and I shouldn't have to reset the alarm time every day. I should be able to use the same alarm time every day.
5. Without using the too-bright nightlight feature, how am I supposed to tell the time at night? If I speak to it, I risk waking the person next to me; if I touch the clock, I get the overly-loud voice prompt. Neither is a good solution, so it's useless in the dark.
A great idea, but a pretty useless first version. I give this 1 out of 5 stars.
