I have kerosene heaters but they are messy and require some maintenance and if not in good working order are smelly. This propane heater requires no maintenance and works every time. Propane is cheaper than kerosene now so I'm sold on the propane heater.It has three positions on the valve. Low, medium and high. Will run for 52 hours on low setting with a 5 gallon tank. Easy to use. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this supposing I could use it indoors with an open window for ventillation but it creates a very upleasant odor and I wouldn't recommend it for enclosed areas. Rather I would use it for camping, hunting or out on the deck. It doesn't radiate the heat much out in front but mostly upward so it is nice to just stand over it to get warm. It was rather easy to install and light so I can recommend it for such purposes as described.Customer Review: One hot piece of equipment

Purchased the Mr. Heater about a month ago and use it in my shop. I have no insulation in the shop - but this unit keeps it comfortable to work in the shop. Before I had this heater I did not work in the shop during the cold months. Highly recommend it.Customer Review: Portable propane heater

This heater makes some noise on startup for some reason, but soon settles down and provides good efficient heating. It is much less expensive to operate than the portable electric radiator I was using before and much faster heating too. I recommend it.
