This is a great heater and would have been rated 5 stars if the heated air would not have been so humid. In fact, this is the only default "The hot air produced is humid". Other than this default, I repeat "It is a great heater". It is very fast, reliable, effective, very safe, and has a low propane gas consumption as I hooked it with a quick connexion on a low pressure hose from my 30 lbs tank regulator. I greatly recommend it as long as you will know that your ambiant air humidity level will increased.Customer Review: Great for the garage

I bought this heater to run in the garage during the winter when I wash my car. The heater has no problem heating the garage into the sixties when on full heat. Once the garage is warm, I can maintain the heat at the half setting. I have a standard double car garage to heat. As others have mentioned, the fan doesn't really work that well, but I'm not standing next to it anyway. The purpose of the unit is to heat the room and it does that fine. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the installation of the batteries was difficult. The unit takes two rows of batteries and the springs for the 1st row of batteries gets in the way of installing the second row. They should of staggered the batteries or put them side-by-side. I bought this heater to use for projects in my outbuilding. It has worked very well and made working in it very comfortable. We also had our power go out from some storms just recently and I was able to keep our large ranch house fairly warm, around 55 degees or so, for over a day when outdoor temperatures dropped below 30 degrees. As we moved to different areas of the house we moved the heater with us and enjoyed the warmth it gave. I have recommended this unit to all my neighbors and friends. I bought this heater for tent camping. It puts out a ton of heat. When it was about 40 degrees out, I used this heater on low and I had to partially unzip the windows and door of my three person tent in order to stay comfortable. Even then, I was only half covered by a blanket. I bought the Big Buddy in anticipation of using a big tent in the future. I'll update this when I get to try the heater in the bigger tent.
If I remember correctly, the heater will last about 1 and 1/3 nights on low with two 1 pound bottles. Keep that in mind so you don't end up waking up freezing like I did. Don't try using one full bottle and a bottle you've used for one night either - you'll still wake up cold! I also bought the hose with a built in regulator so I can use big tanks. I should get to try it out in a couple of months.
This is a great heater that puts out tons of heat. Keep an eye on the price. I bought it for $110 off here last year.
UPDATE:
I have since used this heater in the Coleman 8 person instant tent (amazing tent) along with the extension hose for using a big tank. The temperatures at night got slightly below freezing, and I was pretty comfortable with the heater on high with a couple blankets over me.
One issue I experienced was the heater flickering out. This could have been two problems. At first, I kept the large propane tank outside my tent. The cold could have made the regulator stick, or so I have been told. Another explanation could be that the low oxygen sensor could have been kicking in, since I had the heater on high.
Next time I will try using the fan. It just seems like a waste of batteries to me, but I figure I should give it a try.

This is a great heating unit. I had the single tank unit but it would run out halfway through a day trip. With the duel tank ability on this one I can use it all day without having to bring extra small tanks along. It also has two burner units so it can really heat a garage. Get the optional a/c adapter for the fan it improves fan output and saves on batteries.
