Customer Review: Disappointed in altitude restriction....Above 6500'....

This heater works really well for lower altitudes! It worked great at the house, just not at the camp site. If going up in altitude the low oxygen sensor will not let the burner/heater/pilot light stay lit. I think it says that it is "recommended" for use below 7000' somewhere in the owners manual, however, I would put on the label/box "it does NOT work above 6500'" I ended up trading it in for a Coleman Power Cat and that works great for what I need it for. But if you live below the altitude and need a great portable propane heater this is it!!! Just didn't work for me :(Customer Review: Does exactly what it is supposed to do

I bought Mr. Heater for the cabin of our 26 foot sailboat and it works great! I leave the hatch open a bit and the heater heats the cabin nicely. Definitely better than the Coleman "Black Cat" that I previously used. After only 3 years of service it completely fell apart, burned a couple spots in the carpet and made a mess all over the cabin. Plus it does not have enough B.T.U.'s to heat the cabin of the boat sufficiently. Mr. Heater does the job easily.Customer Review: Emergency Heat

I bought this heater for 2 reasons. I wanded to use it while ice fishing. My friends and I fish in shantys so the heater keeps us nice and warm. I also live in the country and when the electriclty goes out as it often does,we have a heater to use to keep us warm. The heater has many features such as a wire frame that keeps the flame at a safe distance from anything flamable.I would buy it again.Customer Review: Fast Easy Heat Source...

I got one of these to save on Elect heat at home & I now use it most of the time in my Bathroom seeing Elect heat takes Forever to heat my tiny bathroom up,so I turn the heater on & let it run a few min then jump in shower & it's SO Nice/Warm,one thing happened to mine,it got Bumped a bit to Hard & Cracked the ceramic piece,where the flame runs over,it still works but one needs to Not Be Rough with them,replacement Parts can be ordered but I have Not done so. I also found similar heaters @ Home Depot at Great Price awhile back & I bought 2 more for X-Tra Heat or Latter,the propane lasts awhile and I pay about 2.00 per tank at wallmart so not that bad,I like to sit and stare at the flame & feel the warmth & pretend it's a Fireplace,lol it is Nice...""""I would NOT use around Young Children"""....Customer Review: Good Design but Hard to Start

Not easy to get started, but great once you get it going. toasty. I have 2 CO detectors just in case the low O2 sensors fail. Low O2 results in incomcombustion which results in higher levels of CO. Alright old man winter, Im ready for ya. Bring it on!
