Customer Review: Essential tool for the perfect caulking job

I love these things. They used to sell them at Lowes, but you can't find them anymore. I keep 'losing' mine when people see me use one. Part of getting a perfect bead is in how much caulk you lay down. Too much and you get sloppy edges when you try and tool. Too little and you get gaps/breaks in the bead causing you to have to go back over, which never tools as perfectly as the first time. These tips allow you to change the bead size at will! And when you are done the threaded cap keeps your caulk from drying out.
The only challenge is that some tubes of caulk have really hard nozzles and these tips won't thread properly onto them. I've used duct tape to hold them on in these cases and it works fine.
