I bought this mop replacement a little while after my mop. I prefer this one to the one that came with the mop. It has lasted through more moppings than the original. This one tends to have a little more "scrubbing" capability even though it isn't exactly meant for that. The velcro hasn't worn out either.Customer Review: This is the best mop I've ever owned

I was looking for re-usable mops to use instead of buying disposable
mop pads and the solution to go with it. I had already gone through
many mops of all kinds and materials and this mop was the last one
I found and it is the last one I've bought for the passed 3 years.
These mops are totally washable and can be used wet or dry. I use
mine to apply a clean and shine product. I have reordered several
of them so one is always clean for daily, quick moppings. I have
no complaints and I know without a doubt I have saved myself time
and money, you never run out of throw away pads and because they
can be rinsed out you can do a thorough job of mopping without wasting
2 or more throw away pads. This was the mop I was looking for I
am completely happy with it and the MysticCloud dust mop.

I too have gone through numerous mops and cleaning pads in an attempt to keep our kitchen floor clean. Even though I hated using the Swiffer cleanser and buying the replacement pads, I continued to do so since that the most convenient option that I found. Thanks to another Amazon reviewer (Heather Choi?), she said that she decided to use these Mystic Maid Replacement pads on her Swiffer mop. Lo and behold, it works beautifully! The Velcro section on the Swiffer mop clings on the MysticMaid replacement pad so you don't have to keep buying expensive disposable cleaning pads for your Swiffer. The BEAUTIFUL thing is that it works SOOOO much better than those flimsy Swiffer pads!! This has more scrubbing power, like others have mentioned, it doesn't distribute dirt in other areas - it actually absorbs the dirt you are trying to clean up into the pad then you just take it off and toss it in the washer to use again. I have 2...one to use, one to wash but I think I'll pick up another one simply for sheer convenience.
I have not yet tried the MysticMaid MOP itself as this review is for the replacement pad but WHEN my Swiffer breaks (and it will as they always snap in the pole area) I'll buy one of the MysticMaid mops and give it a shot then will update my review.
So regardless if you have the MysticMaid mop or not, if you have a Swiffer JetDry Mop, buy one of these pads to try. You'll be glad you did!!
UPDATE: It's now about 1 1/2 Year later and the same initial pads that I bought are still in GREAT shape, still 100% intact (no fraying or anything falling apart), still work incredibly well. I actually have 3 of the pads now. Between a puppy, 2 boys and a husband - all who don't always wipe their feet off or remove their shoes, our floors can get pretty bad so sometimes it takes 2 of these pads to REALLY make my floor white. I plan to add 1 more so that I've always got a 'set' to go when I need it. I simply toss these in the washer and hang to dry and they are good to go! Tip: Be sure to not add laundry softener to your pad when washing it. Just detergent...I actually use 20 Mule Borax & White vinegar (to wash these pads) and it takes care of it. Love, Love, Love them!
