Tools and Hardware Reviews of National Hardware V334 The Wedge Door Stop, Brown, 2-Pack, 4-InchCustomer Review: Does what a door stopper should Summary: 5 Stars
Not too much to say about a door stopper. It works well in my application. I'm using it to hold open a hollow interior door in a carpeted bedroom, and it has no problem keeping the door open. I'm not using it on a non-carpeted surface, so I can't really comment on it's holding power there. It seems like it would work, though, as the stopper is made of a rubbery material, which isn't likely to slip.
Speaking of the material, it seems to be thick enough to get the job done, and is of a good quality. The stopper is a little smaller than those I've had in the past, but that's just because I got the 4-inch model. It works well in my case, and the small size helps make the door stopper less obtrusive. If you have a heavy door, or have a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor, then I'd recommend getting the 5-inch model.
Customer Review: Doorstop purpose. Summary: 4 Stars
I needed something to keep my kitchen door from blowing shut from the wind when I leave it ajar for my cats to get in the house, and your doorstop works perfectly. There don't seem to be any stores that carry doorstops any more, so it is great to be able to get one by mail so easily.
Customer Review: Lightweight doors only Summary: 4 Stars
I wouldn't recommend this doorstop unless you have a non-weighted, interior door... comparable to something you could prop open with a shoe.
I give it a four star rating because I'm sure it does fine for light-weight doors.
Customer Review: Simple and effective doorstop Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this door stop when my office door kept shutting on me. It has about 1/4 inch clearance from the floor. It works just fine in holding it in place. It is simple, cheap and effective. If you have a door that will not stay in place, buy it.
Customer Review: The Door Stops Here! Summary: 4 Stars
Basic door stops - the 4inch size works for regular doors, I would get bigger ones for more industrial or heavy doors.
