This company was very efficient in mailing and safe packing the shipped product. The producct itself is fine. I use it to measure the thickness of out going mail, since the postage rules have changed. I titled this review A Basta which means "enough already" simply because I HAVE reviewed this product already under the previous reviewing method. I am mostly satisfied with this device. It seems to be easily accurate enough to serve my needs, and it is easy to use.
The only reservation I have is that the cover for the battery compartment slides off too easily, often while I'm trying to make a meaurement. And the spare battery they send you doesn't stay put in the little indentation in the foam in the case, so every time you open the case the battery is floating around somewhere.

As I get older, my eye sight is not what it used to be. Staring at a dial with fine lines is a real pain. This solves that problem. For the very low price,I'd paid for this calipers, I was thinking "That it would probably be "okay" for what I wanted it for".
Rough pre-measuring, guesstimates of widths and thicknesses,on various projects I am currently involved with and then I could use my far more expensive calipers to "fine tune things" before actual cutting,grinding and polishing,took place.
However, once I opened this caliper and felt its heft, saw the accuracy of its scaling and ease of use, I decided to put it to the complete test and keep using it all the way through the entire process, start to finish, of my current project.
I wasn't, at all disappointed, with the results from using this fine tool!
As unfortunately happens, to a few of us, as the old birthdays pile up......... I have a slight "tremor" in my hands, whenever I am doing close and intricate work, like using a calipers for precise measurements.
But, with this calipers having a nice,solid,"heft" to it,(for a tool of this nature,anyhow),I really liked the "feel" of this calipers in the hand. It is a lot heavier than I'd thought it might be, making it steadier and easier to use,(for me, anyway),when measuring very thin materials.
It appears to be manufactured with quite a bit of attention to details, the case is a nice extra and even both of the batteries I'd received with my calipers,showed "full power" when I tested them before using the tool for the first time.
Honestly, if I was handed this calipers to use, by another person and was then told "they'd paid around $50.00+ for it", I would not doubt them for a minute!
After using this tool now,for several projects, I still cannot believe I paid well below the $20.00 mark for it! Several more have now been ordered by others that have borrowed it from me, for their own use.
I would,(and now, have), recommend this particular calipers to anyone that is looking for a nicely made, quite accurate, VERY inexpensive, measuring tool.
