I researched for a light that can be charged from 12 volt cigar lighter receptacles. The LEDs provide plenty of light for at least 2 hours; that's all I used it for. Durable and long duration light output makes the old fashioned trouble lights totally obsolete.

It's a nice light! The 60 LED's are bright. I've seen other lights of this type with far fewer then the 60 lights and they aren't as bright. Being cordless is nice. It stays bright for quite a long time. When I'm done with it, I just plug it back in to recharge. I don't really use the end 9 LED part much as I have a really bright LED flashlight on me all the time. It does a pretty good job.

I was working on a Mustang Cobra Supercharged, up high in the air changing out of stock exhaust manifolds for Header pipes. Let me tell you, it's ALL ENGINE under the hood. You can't see the exhaust manifold at all from up top, and under the car is not much better. Complete pain in the A** to swap, and I was the one to swap it back to Stock in the first place for the Car Dealer to sell. I used this light the whole time doing the job by jamming it into place to work. Most of the time it worked fine this way, but it fell to the ground quite a few times and ended up braking the top 9 led cover into pieces. It still all works just fine and I'm still using it. There is a hook on the top you hook onto cables or hoses which would keep the light from falling then just jamming it into someplace, but it wasn't really possible for the job I was working on. I got it on SALE here at Amazon and so the price really couldn't be beat.

The only Negative which hasn't been a problem for me is that the other lights I compared this to charge a whole lot FASTER then this one. Since the light lasted far more then long enough for my uses, it was never a issue. I just kept it plugged in at night. I made a huge move and completely changing Jobs to something almost completely different and so my days on working on Cars, Trucks, Motorhomes, etc are at a end other then my own for the most part. So currently I'm not using the light.
