I got this safe about 2 weeks ago now. I have to be honest, when I spent only 45 bucks on a safe with an electronic lock, I had my doubts. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to operate and how durable it actually felt. It won't withstand any fire that comes raging through, however to keep people out of your personal belongings, its perfect!
The door feels more flimsy then the rest of the safe, but it is obvious that no one is getting through it without a crow bar, hammer, 2 friends, and a couple hours.

This safe serves my purposes very well. It is a good size to keep valuables inside and installs fairly easily. My favorite feature is that while there is an emergency key option in case you forget your password, it is hidden behind a compartment to make potential thieves unaware of this feature. Therefore, no one will go looking for your keys to open the safe because they wont realize upon a quick glance, that you can even use a key to unlock it. Most importantly, the price of the safe is well below that of competitors. Overall, an excellent safe!Customer Review: Good deal.

The box itself is quite light. if you don't bolt it down it can be easily carried away, complete with contents. Even if it is bolted down, it can be opened easily with a cordless drill and a screwdriver. That said it is ideal for keeping small hands or casual passers by or small children from touching things you don't want them to.
A couple other negatives... the box is a bit small. Standard sized pieces of paper need to be folded. This makes it less than ideal for storing documents.
Also, there is an annoyingly loud beep each time you push one of the buttons to open the lock. That kind of broadcasts to anyone within earshot that somebody is doing something and there are situations where you might not want to do that. (Think removing your gun when you hear an intruder.)
On the plus side is this fits on a shelf and can be "hidden" behind other things. If you can live with the negatives then this should work well for you.
