I bought 3 of these 1 1/2 years ago for an African Safari. I used them a lot through out my 18 day stay. Never had a problem with them. Recently took 2 with me on a Canadian hunt. Weather was a balmy -8 degrees Celsius. I was out in the field for 13 hours at a time. These flash lights worked well without any problems. I now keep one on my night table for emergency back up lighting in case of power failures. They still have the same batteries I installed when I bought them and still going strong.Customer Review: Big light in a small package

This is the best flashlights I've bought in years! Though it's small, it's construction and metal casing make it a rugged little thing. And then there's the price, which can't be beat. But of course, it weren't more than adequately bright, none of that would matter for much. In that regard, I'm more than satisfied with the output of the 9 LEDs, allowing it to light up whatever I aim the thing at, even across the room. If you're looking for a good inexpensive flashlight, this is the one for you.Customer Review: Bought 4, only 3 worked.

I bought 4 of these as "stocking stuffers" for my daughters, my wife, and myself. I wanted them to have one in their car for safety reasons. Well, my one daughter's did not work. I tried fooling with the electronic connections, but I could not get it to work without shaking, and then just picking it up would make it stop working. I wound up throwing it out because I had been tampering with the electronics to try and get it to work. I wound up getting a replacement at K-Mart.
For the 3 that did work, they work beautifully, are very bright, and are very light and compact.

I didn't expect much for the price but all three I bought for my kids worked fine. These are great for the kids for play and camping.
