I read many of the reviews before purchasing and decided to buy it even though I knew I was going to have to do some out-of-the-box maintenance to make it work. But I figured a powerful light for $3 isn't bad. Sure enough it didn't work right out-of-the-box, but after sanding the paint off the threads I got it to work. The disappointment is that this light with its 9 LEDs and 3 AAAs is not as bright as my itty bitty Leatherman Monarch 300 with its 1 LED and 1 AAA. Sure the Leatherman costs more but there's an old saying, "You get what you pay for."Customer Review: Excellent

I bought 2 of these last month. We have 2 vehicles and thought it would be good to have one in each. My dad saw the one in my vehicle and took it immediately. The flash light is very bright for it's size and the batteries it comes with is no "great" brand and still it is bright enough.
Would be buying 2 more soon.
