The first one I had worked for about a year, although the design is a little lacking. Cans get stuck and the wire holder broke. The plastic lever finally gave out. I replaced it with the same thing and it crushed exactly 2 cans before the same thing broke. The newest version is a cheaper plastic part than the first. Odd they make the moving parts so cheap when the holder is so solid.
