As others have mentioned, Nite Ize LED is a Sport vest (nylon wire mesh) that has two identical LED strips on front and on the back. I have been using this product for over three weeks during the dark (mornings and late nights) running session, so far I am loving it. Its light and very easy to operate (in the "on" and "flash" mode) even while you are running. Unlike some other clip on lights, it is quite comfortable and you often forget you are even wearing one. I have gained respect (aka visibility and saftely) from the driver's on the road and on many occasions seen the value of wearing it. In addition to the 3M reflective strips on the front and back the LEDs can be seen flashing even if the light from the oncoming (or coming from the back) traffic does not fall on your form the right angle.
I have used this product for over 50 hours and have been a happy customer as of now. So far I have not replaced the batteries but you can get a pair of them (CR2032) for couple of dollars. It's worth the money and makes a profound difference when one need safety on the road... I know I have.
Couple of points to know. The Vest is not long, its from shoulder to base of your chest (not till the waist). I am an L size and have felt the elastic band to be "little" tight when I have layered up for the cold season runs. But it's not an issue, just thought I will set what to expect when you buy this. It has my 5 star ratings......
