Customer Review: Don't use for things you'd miss coming loose

This is a nice design, and well-made. It would be a great piece of gear, except there just isn't enough tension keeping the clips closed, which means they can come open by accident.
So, if you're clipping something onto them that you will notice falling off (such as a water bottle), they're great. A small and lightweight item, like keys, would not be the best thing to use these for.

I use these (partically the #3) to hold my keys which I attach to the belt loop of my pants. Left alone, it holds the keys very well with no reason to worry about them falling off. They look good too.
HOWEVER, during the act of attaching and removing it from my belt loop, it was possible to accidently push open the end with the keys while you are pushing open the other end that is to be attached to the belt loop. This can cause your keys and/or items to fall. I have lost a couple of items this way already. So please, if you are going to use this to attach your keys to your belt loop, BE CAREFULL!!! Do it slowly, making sure all your items are still there before leaving it alone.
For other uses, they are GREAT. The biggest one, #4, was capable of holding a tight, extended volleyball net without bending out of shape.

My job requires a badge just to move anywhere within the building. No badge, no entry. Which means you have to keep up with it constantly. I don't like the necklaces or wristbands, but I want to have my hands free while I move about, and not forget my badge at the same time. I use the smallest of the set to clip it to my purse and or pants loop, etc...Well made, strong, useful.Customer Review: Phenomenal.

I bought this because I had a common problem with my last carabiner, which resulted in me having to buy a new leatherman Squirt... twice. I attached it to my beltloop frequently, and every time I took it off or put it on, I risked losing one of the few precious items which it held. By having only one loop, the sheer act of clipping it on allowed items to fall off.
I took my hunt to Amazon and without knowing what I was looking for, found this. I could not be more satisfied.
I use the middle one (#3) on my belt loop for keys, a Squirt, and a USB drive. It feels just the right size there, or if anything it's a hair long. The small one was too small for this application as clipping & unclipping to my belt loop was a hassle.
I also saw many other double-gated carabiners on Amazon which were made of plastic. I chose to steer clear because I don't trust plastic under heavy use -- I feel it's just a matter of time before it cracks. This metal construction is very sturdy and rigid, rated to 25 lbs. for #3.
I see myself being very happy with this for a long time as it solves my original problem, appears very durable, and cost me close to nothing!

I love biners and these ones are fun to have so you can put them on your water bottle. They have that cool stainless steal feel to them that makes your fingers scream in delightfulness.
