Customer Review: Batteries dead on arrival

I already have two of these that I purchased at REI last winter in red. I decided to buy two of the multicolored ones as extras since they are inexpensive, but the batteries were dead on both of these upon arrival. I checked to see if the batteries were wrong-side up, but no. It takes a while to drain the batteries on these lights, so something may have pressed down on them in storage. Considering that the batteries cost $5 to replace (they use 2016's two per light), I am returning these ASAP.
