I have three of these(oldest 2 years) and totally do NOT understand the previous reviewers. None of mine leak nor are easily cross-threaded. They are powerful rewinders, which is why I bought them. They easily rewind 100' of heavy all rubber hose(just disconnect the hose-end first!). The swivel model is more powerful than the non-swivel models, but a little help from me is better than having to wind the whole thing by hand! An extra(to me) is they water the flower bed while re-winding(or you could just wash the hose off while re-winding!). This product is well worth the investment and I hope you are not discouraged by the mis-aligned previous reviews.
