Tools and Hardware Reviews of Noodlehead N111C Flexible Lawn & Garden SprinklerCustomer Review: Definitely recommended Summary: 5 Stars
I only bought one of this item because I wasn't sure if it would work as described. I absolutely love it, it can be set so that it covers almost all of my front lawn (which is oddly shaped or it would cover it all) and I love the ability to move the little tubes to ensure the water goes where it needs to go. I use it with the stake attached because we like to leave our lawn at about 2 to 3 inches so that it will conserve water, and other sprinklers just don't work as well with this length. I plan to buy another for my backyard!
Customer Review: Does not look like the drawing. Company has no integrity. Summary: 3 Stars
Why give it three stars? Because I'm reviewing this fairly. I left a review for this product last week with three stars and "somehow" it was removed. I'd like interested parties to be aware of why I do not give it the five stars that my LAWN wants to give it. The biggest problem I have with this company is honesty and fairness and I don't say that to be punny. The County Fair is where I was introduced to this product and it is there that I overpaid direct from the manufacturer. They charged $4 more for one of these and if it looked like this picture...well, I may have thought it fair since the picture suggests metal parts are somehow part of it's makeup. Wouldn't an actual photograph work? The brother of the manufacturer sells to Amazon who then marks them up to $12.95 but he sells it directly to me who has paid $10 to enter the fair and $10 to park at the fair for $16.95 saying, "The more you buy, the more you save" and "The reason I can afford to sell them for this unheard of fair-only low low price is that my brother is the manufacturer. What a crook!
Now, am I happy with the item? Yes? Shouldn't that be the only thing that counts? You decide? Do you enjoy freedom of speech? I do. Do you believe in truth in advertising? Well, then you'll be disappointed to know that this noodlehead is a little green plastic thingy like they sell on any other site wherein it bears the name "Noodlehead" and not of some gunmetal blue glimmering goodness. When he advertises his "Fair-only price" in YOUR town, know that there IS truth in that...a misleading truth. Buyer beware and buy here! That is all.
Customer Review: Good for what it's designed for Summary: 5 Stars
Let's get the Cons out of the way first:
1. The noodles are a bit fussy to aim. But realize that they rotate also, and this becomes much less of a problem.
2. Each one does not spray much water. This can be a Pro or a Con, depending on the situation.
3. It is a bit light, and on uneven ground, even the weight of the hose can pull it off course. The ground stake fixes that.
The Pros:
1. Once you get the hang of positioning the noodles, it's easy to cover any weird shape. And they do loosen up with use. After a month or so of occasional use, mine stay pretty much where I point them.
2. With the pressure turned down, it's easy to give the plants a slow, deep soak.
3. The kids love it to play with too.
Bottom line: If you're a turn-it-on-and-forget-it type with oddly shaped areas to water, this is THE device for you. If you've just reseeded your entire front lawn, get a traditional sprinkler.
Customer Review: Great CUSTOM Sprinkler Summary: 5 Stars
I recently began using other sprinklers, but this sprinkler is full of power, and the directions are great. It is truly palm-sized, so don't let the product dimensions fool you. It comes in a hard plastic container able to fit into your hand, or almost for women. If you need a sprinkler to shoot in multiple levels and directions, THIS IS IT!
Customer Review: I love it. Summary: 5 Stars
This noodlehead really works for me. I have a small city garden that is not your usual kind of shape. It curves around the bow shape of the house. Some long narrow areas along edges and some plants located away from everything else. I purchased 3 of them and tried one out this afternoon. Be prepared to get wet setting it up. I intend to connect it all with "Y" connections and custom lengths of hose. I wouldn't use this for any regular shape garden. If you have a round or rectangular shape just get a regular kind of sprinkler. But, if like me, you have an odd shape garden and don't like watering the house, walk, patio and patio furniture this might be just what you need.
