Tools and Hardware Reviews of Noodlehead N111C Flexible Lawn & Garden Sprinkler

Customer Review: Pretty cool
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this to water my front lawn which is very very long and thin, so it an awkward shape and I usually end up mostly watering the street in front of my house if I use a traditional sprinkler. This Noodlehead sprinkler definitely allows you to point the streams in whichever direction you like, but there are not that many nozzles so some parts of the lawn remain unwatered. Its not so much a normal sprinkler mist, its more like a bunch of tiny individual streams of water - more like a fountain than a sprinkler. I think it would definitely work great for a small garden where you only want to direct water at shrubs and flowers. Overall a pretty neat concept and works as promised.

Customer Review: Pretty cool, gets the job done for my small space.
Summary: 4 Stars

I have a small akward space in my yard, and it gets that space perfectly. It is a small space though. The picture it comes with shows all these ways you can do it and all the different shapes that you can water at once, and there is no freaking way. IF you have a small strip or something like that, this is perfect, but dn't expect this to get a good size area. The area it sprays is the size of a small nursery room.

Customer Review: Really easy to configure water pattern
Summary: 4 Stars

I have owned this sprinkler for about 5 years. Bought it at a home show on a whim. The sprinkler is made very well, stays put with the screw on spike attached to the bottom and ,best of all, works excellently. You can direct the spray tubes individually to water in any direction. There is a metal wire in each tube so you can bend each one in any direction. This enables you to water many individual plants at the same time with very little water waste. It also is great at watering general areas, such as a large flower bed or portion of a lawn.
It does take some time in setting it up. You may have to turn the water on and off several times to "tweak' the spray pattern if you want to direct each watering tube on a specific plant, but an on/off valve on hose makes it very easy. Works best, in my opinion, if the plants are somewhat close together. I own two and just ordered three more. This way I can set each one up once for each flower bed, etc. and just move hose when watering is needed.

Customer Review: Really fussy
Summary: 3 Stars

The Noodlehead worked fine, up to a point. The sprays from each Noodle went up to about eight feet away. Each Noodle doesn't really spray a lot of water, so be prepared to point three to six noodles at one spot if you want to really cover a specific area.

I also found bending the noodles to be vey fussy and time-consuming. Often the Noodles bent back up over time and had to be repositioned. I finally gave up and got a traditional oscillating sprinker. That worked pretty well, and didn't have to be readjusted.

My bottom line: it's a fussy novelty that might be perfect for some folks, but I won't be buying more than the one I tried.

Customer Review: Small areas only and wear a rain suit!
Summary: 2 Stars

These are OK for a small area if you plan never to move it from the site.
