This product, for the money, is absolutely wonderful. The water produced is clear and CLEAN. No additional additives or residue. I never knew that pure water could have such a silky quality - goes to show you how much we all have been duped over the years. The water produced feels so nice to drink.
And, it is so much easier to maintain than I had imagined. Although the residue from each session is evident in the bottom of the container, a bit of vinegar and about 10 minutes makes the stainless steel sparkle again. Would I buy this item again or recommend it to others? Yes, Yes, Yes.

I couldn't ask for anything better as a christmas gift! This product is astonishing and very productive when making your best tasting water in the whole wide world. My wife and I only eat organic food in our house, but we lacked the water quality to wash our veggies and fruits. Now our kitchen is 100% organic proof and the way we live our life style has improved our health in amazing ways. I have been using this daily.
The unit it well designed, the water tasted perfect.
Takes about 4 hours for one gallon.
No leaks, no escaping steam.
I use the water for everything from baby food mixing, to coffee.
Stainless steal carafe is very easy to clean.
The plastic pitcher does smell like well ... plastic, but if you clean it properly and air it out for a little bit its fine.

I purchased a distiller from Nutriteam that was clearly damaged before it was shipped. Both the box and Styrofoam were not damaged, only the distiller body. I returned the distiller and received a refund that did not include the shipping cost. When I called I was told that that was their policy. On the website under store policies it states that shipping charges are not refunded unless the item is defective. A distiller with a large dent doesn't qualify? I now have disputed the charge with the credit card company. Who needs this hassle and what are they doing sending out damaged merchandise? Be wary.Customer Review: Clean Water

The product works well and we are happy with the clean water we get. We can fill the pitcher with water in about 5-6 hours. My issues:
* shipping cost is high/product is not available under Amazon Prime.
* distilling engine is located in the lid which is connected to the body by a cable. It is cumbersome when opening the lid, which is necessary for refills.
I am not sure I will ever look at tap water the same way again. The distilled residue is really foul...something which I have been drinking with our water before we bought the distiller.
