I am very pleased with my purchase and plan on purchasing another fan later. I want these for when the power goes off because its usually so hot here in Tennessee. I originally purchased this fan to be used outside at my daughter's softball games. It was a life saver in the SC heat. I am so glad I purchased it. Other parents were very envious (i shared occassionally). My daughter used it in between games to cool down and she enjoyed it. Recently my hubby and I have used it in our bedroom (with the adaptor)because our ceiling fan is not working. It is perfect because we can easily slide it into a hiding spot in the mornings when we clean our room. It would be very effiecient in a power outage. The little fan moved a lot of air for it's thin size. However, it was pretty loud. It didn't want to stay upright unless you had it set to the middle position. One click back or forward and it would fall over. I dropped mine from a height of about 3 feet onto a hard floor and 3 of the 5 blades in the fan just snapped off. I'll miss the portability of it but not much else.
