Use: Like most of the other reviewers, I really like this strainer. We have a dual sink with an In-Sink-erator hub on one side and a smaller hub on the other. I bought two of these and they both fit perfectly. I don't notice any leakage of food slipping underneath and the holes seem perfectly sized to keep most food particles out.
Cleaning: I don't like or use the "pop-out" feature. Maybe there's some trick to doing it neatly, but when I try it, wet bits of fly off it in every direction. I tend to just tap the whole thing upside down against the inside of the trash can and the silicone material means everything just slides off. A quick rinse or hand wash under the sink is enough to clean it, but I also just toss ours in the dishwasher every so often, or if I'm feeling lazy.
Another great product from OXO, IMHO. :-)
