I bought this OXO drain stopper three years ago on a whim (given the price), and have never regretted the decision. It's sturdy. Well-designed. Well-built. It's lasted for three years, and I imagine it lasting for many years to come. It easily traps kitchen debris and the silicone makes emptying the basket so, so simple and clean. No worries. I am a big fan of OXO products, so when I saw this Sink Strainer, I had to try it! It is brilliant! It has not gotten stained and rusted like previous ones that I have had. Also, it cleans out so easily and looks as good as knew again. It is very durable too.Customer Review: Amazing!

This sink strainer is simply amazing and so much better than the old one that came with my apartment. The metal rim allows it to stay in place and seal off the sides of the sinkhole so that food doesn't get through there, even where there is a lot of water in the sink. It works very well in trapping food and is pretty easy to clean. We haven't had another clogged sink since!Customer Review: Awesome sink strainer

This is the perfect sink strainer ever!!!! .So simple to hold it over your garbage pail and invert the rubber stopper to empty any debris. Cleans very easily. Nothing ever sticks to it. Never gets slimy "crud" around the bottom like the old stainless steel strainers..I spray it with Lysol every now and then and it's 2 years and still like new.
