Tools and Hardware Reviews of OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink StrainerCustomer Review: Classy Summary: 4 Stars
I like the fact that it is very decorative, and it is also easy to dispose trapped food particles away from the sink; however, it gets really slimy underneath the rim if you do not brush or clean it regularly. This is one disadvantage that I can think of.
Customer Review: Clogs up too fast, too often. Summary: 2 Stars
Originally I liked this sink strainer. The silicone makes sense. It's fun and easy to use.
And then about two minutes into washing dishes, it clogged up. And the sink filled up, and I had to empty it.
I went back to washing dishes, and it clogged up again.
Flash forward a month or two, and now I'm utterly sick of the thing.
The problem is, it's small. There aren't that many holes compared to regular sink strainers, and not that much surface area. Seriously, ten alfalfa sprouts will render this thing totally useless -- which means your sink fills up with dirty water until you take care of it.
Can't recommend it. Wish I didn't have it.
Customer Review: Consistent value from Oxo Summary: 5 Stars
As expected, this is a great strainer and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The quality of the materials is great, and this far exceeds the dollar store sink strainer I was using previously.
Customer Review: Easy to clean......... Summary: 5 Stars
THIS IS THE BEST SINK STRAINER I'VE EVER HAD. ITS FLEXIBILITY MAKES IT A BREEZE TO CLEAN. GOT MINE AT A STORE WITH 10% OFF OXO PRODUCTS WHICH MADE IT EVEN BETTER.
Customer Review: Fits well and works well Summary: 5 Stars
I really like this product and got one for my mother also. It covers the garbage grinder sink drain well and saves my cutlery. It is easy to clean in the dishwasher and holds up to the chemicals I use to disinfect and clean the sink. It fits perfectly and the pop up and down center make it super easy to use and empty. It is easy to grasp and remove even when greasy.
