THIS BRUSH ROCKS IT HOLDS SOAP IF NEEDED JUST PUSH ON BLACK BUTTON OUT IT COMES. THEBRUSH IT SELF WASHES UP REALLY WELL NOT LIKE THOSES OTHERS ONES THAT FOOD AND GRIME STAY ON P.S. The soap does leak, and its hard to manage the amount of soap when using this. I found it too big, unwieldy, complicated, so not comfortable to use regularly. Went back too putting a drop of soap on a sponge for quick clean up when there are just a few dishes. I wouldn't buy this again.Customer Review: Liked the plastic version better

After using the original all-plastic OXO day in and day out for over 5 years, the tab that keeps the brush head in place finally gave out. It owed us nothing! :) When ordering I decided to upgrade to the stainless steel version of the brush, thinking it would be a more substantial version of the original. Not so...
The soap is difficult to dispense in this version. In the old one, all I had to do was pump the dispenser button once or twice and I had a perfect amount of soap for washing one item. With this one, I have to push the button several times, and bang the brush on the pot/dish/whatever to get the soap flowing. Kind of a pain. The steel surface looks great, but is slippery and hard to hold onto when your hands are wet.
All in all, I'd say stick with the original version. Works better, overall.

I have had this brush for about 6 months and it is just about time to change the brush head. Sometimes I worried that the bristles would become permanently stained from tomato sauce, or other such substance. However, with just using it for cleaning other dishes the bristles came clean.
I have 2 of these one with the brush head the other sponge/"scrub" head. I have been very happy with both.
While I have filled it with a soap and water solution I find the "squirt" function does not work so well. Initially, I was disappointed. However, I really do like hoe it looks along with the sink organizer and soap dispenser.
While it has a nice look it also feels good in the hand and is an effective tool for cleaning pots and pans with lots of baked on stuff. This brush as the feel and durability I have come to expect from OXO.
This is not the cheapest way to get the job done. But it feels good in the hand, does a nice job of clean up and looks nice on the counter.
