Customer Review: Excellent Palm Brush, Except the Price

This Oxo SteeL palm brush is attractive, sturdy and comfortable to hold. The soap dispense button was a little hard to press when it was brand new, but it is not a problem once it has gone through the break-in period which is about 2 weeks or so. The soap squirt out nicely. I have two Oxo brush units and owned another before, and I have never experienced any soap leaking problem mentioned by others. My guess is that it is a very uncommon problem. The great thing about this brush is that you can replace the brush head with Oxo SteeL Soap Squirting Palm Brush Refills, 2-Pack, providing an economical alternative to purchasing an entire new brush. In addition, you can fit this with other alternative heads, like the sponge or Oxo Good Grips Soap Squirting Mesh Scrub Refills, Package/2. Consequently, I advise against buying the Oxo Soap Squirting Palm Brush which has no replacement capability.
What I don't like about this brush is the price. $10 is just a lot. Oxo also sells the non-SteeL palm brushes with brush replacement capability and those cost only $5, like Oxo Good Grips Soap Squirting Palm Scrub. The stainless steel on this Oxo SteeL is simply a very thin piece for decoration only. It is not like the entire thing is made of all steel, so having the extra thin piece of steel for an extra $5 is just too much. I strongly recommend the non-SteeL brushes with refill capability if you can get hold of them.
That being said. This is an well-designed brush with brush refill capability. I am happy with my purchase.

I like the way this brush grips in my hand and tough to slip off even with all the soap and scrubbing violence.
PROS
- Good grip
- Brush strong enough, yet soft enough to not damage anything
- Clear design let you know soap level
CONS
- The resevoir and brush both have same twist off design. The problem with that, is when you try to twist off the soap refill lid, you twist off the brush as well. My lid is tighter than the brush and it comes off each time I try to just refill the soap. Not a show stopper, but can be annoying at times.

I had been looking for a handheld dish brush and have always been a fan of OXO products so, I gave this a try. I'll be honest, I don't use this much but my husband is an avid fan. We had been using a cheap hand brush prior to this purchase. I will continue to buy OXO as they are great items for the money.Customer Review: Good product for doing dishes.

I have gotten compliments on this Soap Squirting Palm brush. When friends have helped me with cleanup after a party, they always comment on the ease of use and the great quality. I use different heads on the brush dependng on what cleaning job I am doing. There are several different scrubbing heads that fit on this one soap dispenser. That is one of the greatest features of this item.Customer Review: Good quality, as can be expected.

I love OXO good grips. They are great products overall. Also, customer service tends to be really great, and have replaced any of their products that have broken.
Once again, OXO made a great product. The rubber cap twists onto the soap cup. That makes sure that it is really on. I had a cheap one, and the lid would fall off, or after washing it in the dishwasher, it shrunk. This brush has strong bristles, which gets a lot of the harder stuff off dishes. It also squirts soap really well. There is no need to push the top again and again to get soap. Just a little push and a good amount comes out. As most of OXOs products, this is very comfortable. The palm brush fits perfectly in my female hands. It isn't too large, or too small (which would be more difficult for men). Over all, it is a great product that is well designed and of high quality. If it breaks, OXO will probably send you another one, like they did with another product of theirs.
