Customer Review: Great set but fitted sheet is too small

I bought this for my 2 year old son. It's very colorful and he really likes it.
However, everytime I make his bed I am bugged by the fact that the fitted sheet is barely big enough to fit the mattress. The mattress is a regular crib-size mattress, not extra deep or anything special. Yet the elastic edges of the fitted sheet only just reach to the bottom of the mattress side - it does not even go underneath the mattress. Olive Kids have really scrimped on the fabric on it.
I had considered buying an extra sheet set when I bought the comforter set, but I'm glad I didn't. Now I just use a plain fitted crib sheet in light blue that matches nicely.

My son loves his new bedding!! The colors are very bright...great for a little boys room. When I first opened it everything smelled odd and seemed stiff, but they washed up nicely. We are very happy with the toddler sheet and comforter set. The colors are bright, the sheets and comforter of good quality, and they do not have that "over-commercialized" look that sometimes happens with theme-based products.

We bought two sets and have been using these nightly for almost two years. We wash frequently due to diapers leaking and potty training. They still look good with no rips or tears and are fitting nicely on the bed. Yes, they get a bit wrinkly if you don't fold them right away, but nothing too bad.Customer Review: Nice fun set for toddler boy

The fitted sheet is very tight and I am concerned that it may tear at some point as it stretches at the seams.
For the rest it is a great fun set. The colors are bright and it washes well.
