This is very nice I like to read at night and when I get sleepy instead of having to get up and turn of the light I just hit the switch. Just love it.Customer Review: It's okay.

You can only turn lamp on/off by hand if the switch is turned on. I was thinking could use either the switch or use manually, but this is not the case. It's managable - just have to become accustomed to it and know what mode is being used. Customer Review: Just what we needed
