The Handy Switch is merely a cheap piece of junk. It would not work after the fourth time I used it. It feels cheap, looks cheap, and performs cheap. If you are looking to buy a decent product, DO NOT BUY HANDY SWITCH. Save $13 and buy something that may actually work.Customer Review: Good...But not Great

I got this product at CVS about a month ago. I needed to control a light in my bedroom where the distance between the receiver and the switch is about 12 feet. It turns the light on with no problems as soon as I flick the switch, however, when I turn it to the off position, it either takes 1-2 seconds for the light to turn off or it just does not turn off at all. If I had to put a ratio to it, I would say that for every 10 times I turn the switch to the off position, it turns off (1-2 seconds later) about 7 of the times. If it does not turn off, I only have to turn the switch to the on position, wait for a second and then turn it off. 99% of the time it turns off the second time if not on the first.
Overall, I am pleased with the product since it is still better than walking those 12 feet in blackness to get to the light.

I was going to have to hire an electrician to do what I wanted to do. then I saw this product on tv. I looked it up on google and brought it from amazon. it cost much less and works great. I highly recommend it.
