Light weight yet has aircraft type cable for the actuator. Delicate enough to pick up a pill off the floor, yet strong enough to pull a box of cereal down from above the cupboard, folds up easily also, get one!!

I had back surgery recently and I felt this was a must. For the next 6 months I can not bend or twist so the JUNKPHER was going to be my helper. In 8 weeks I have gone through 3 of them for $20 a pop. The plastic is cheap and breaks easily! The screws come out of the suction cup on the ends, have they not heard of lock tight. Either way if you have a choice DO NOT BUY THIS YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!Customer Review: NOT impressed - poorly designed and flimsy

Got this for my parents. Plan to return it. It looks flimsy. Could not fold w/out probably breaking it. Had to use two hands to old tight enough to get small box from the upper shelf of pantry. A neighbor of my parents had similar tool they were raving about, but it obviously was NOT this one! Not impressed.Customer Review: Picker-uppers help other ways

I guess I must have 4 of these around the house, 1 in the car, and they all get used a lot. Not only are they great when you need to pick something up off the floor or reach something up high, but they really make it easier to get dressed if you can't bend your knees or reach your feet. On the negative side, the centers of the rubber cups are pretty fragile plastic and after a few months the cups fall off and can't be screwed on again because of the stripped holes. I did go online and contact the manufacturer and ordered a dozen new rubber cups, which came with extra screws, and now I just put new cups on when that happens. It's cheaper and greener than buying new picker-uppers. I also like being able to fold it and lay it on a surface and not have to worry about knocking it on the floor.Customer Review: Piece of Junk !!!

The grabber only lasted a couple of weeks. I only used it for papers or other small objects on the floor. For heavier things I use my lawn dust pan with a handle on it. First the rubber tip fell off. Then a few days later I picked it up and the screw had fallen off. This is the second one I have bought. Next time I will buy another brand.It seems like the screws strip and the rubber tip and the screw falls out.
