I purchased a buckwheat pillow from another company some time ago, and it was much smaller than this pillow. I would consider it more of a travel size pillow. I liked it, but it was way too small. I had to move the pillow around and bunch it up to get it in the correct position. This pillow is amazing! It is large, and it does fit in a king size pillow case as stated. There is no need to have to move this pillow around. I was waking up with headaches a lot. I don't think I was getting proper support from my previous pillows. I sleep on my side, and it was so frustrating to find a pillow with the proper loft and support. This pillow solved all my problems. It has the loft I need, and the support I need. It is not too hard, and conforms to my shape. It also smells clean and fresh. I like that it holds my body heat for warmth. I have purchased several pillows and spent a lot of money trying to find a pillow that worked for me. This pillow is an excellent value, and I am so grateful that i found it! Sleep deprivation is not fun.

Unfortunately for me, while living in this country I found it virtually impossible to find an authentic Japanese buckwheat pillow, so I decided to create and manufacture my own based on my own lifetime experience.
