I've used this pillow for over 5 years and love it. I started waking up with a stiff neck too many times with my down pillow; now I rarely (maybe twice in the past 5 years) wake up with one. And, with all due respect, five minutes isn't long enough to give anything a try. While the crunching noise seems loud at first, you do get used to the sound and, after a night or so, you won't even notice it. I'm getting one for a family member as a gift after he complained about waking up with a stiff neck.
