I've been using a buckwheat pillow for more than 10 years - the only pillow that I can use - otherwise I wake up with a headache.
This one is not as comfortable as the previous ones that I purchased locally (no longer available in-store). I think the reason is that it is stuffed too tightly. I don't want to remove the extra stuffing too soon because I'm thinking that the buckwheat hulls may break down with use. So I just give it a few more poundings with my fist to make a nice indentation for my head. I would still recommend it however because it does the trick and I wake up headache free.

This pillow was smaller than I thought it would be. I guess I did not bother to read the dimensions. I just went by the fact that it is advertised as a "standard" pillow. Thought it would have been filled with more buckwheat hulls (kinda flat) Also there is no removable cover. For the price it is Okay. I slept pretty good on it.Customer Review: Comfy but small

Gave this as a gift. The recipient says it is very comfortable. From reading reviews, I knew that it would be small. I wasn't sure if it would actually come with a cover, as some reviews had mentioned it had one. Mine didn't - quite disappointing since it needs a waterproof cover in a custom size. Went to Target after Christmas and saw that they had the same pillow with a cover for $5.00 less (their website said they weren't sold in stores and also hadn't mentioned a cover).Customer Review: DO NOT BUY THIS PILLOW !!!

I bought 2 Buckwheat pillows from HSN years ago and LOVED them.. They finally wore out, and so I went and bought this Sobakawa buckwheat pillow. I received it yesterday, and there is hardly any buckwheat filling in it...it's absolutely ridiculous!! My old buckwheat pillow which I'm trying to replace for a firmer pillow, is even better than this 'new' one... Very Cheaply made... Do Not buy this pillow, or you will be disappointed in what a true buckwheat pillow can offer you in the way of neck support, etc. judyCustomer Review: Dont Leave Home Without It!!

I had one of these prior to buying this one....if your neck hurts, gets sweaty, back hurts...BUY ONE!! I will NEVER use another pillow again...never leave home without it!! One thing...DO NOT get it wet!! Very stinky, throw it out!!
