My husband loves his sobakawa. The last one we had got wet and mildewed. Yuck! It took us awhile to replace it, and my husband was thrilled when this came in the mail. Just like the one from before, and not the crappy new "sobakawa" pillows that the stores are carrying. This one is buckwheat. Great for support.

I have had my pillow for over 6 years now and I love it! I even take it will me when I travel! I tend to get hot during the night and this pillow keeps my head cool unlike other pillows that get hot, air flows through the pillow. I have suffer from allergies and this pillow helps tremendously. I also feel this pillow give excellent neck support unlike other so called memory pillows. I do recommend getting a zip style washable pillowcase as you cannot wash this pillow.

I've owned the travel sized pillow for over 5 years now and I can't sleep on anything else. (The travel-sized one just fits your head comfortably.)I've taken it to youth camps, sleep-overs, trips and I would still sleep on it every night. This pillow keeps your head cool at night and is very supportive. It also gives food support when you just want to prop-up to read a book or watch tv. I am a stomach sleeper and a side sleeper...it works fine for both since you can mold the pillow to your liking.

At first, I quickly got used to the slight 'crunchy' noise , but it isn't loud or constant all through the night. And it is much heavier than your normal pillow, but that shouldn't matter when it's just on your bed.

It's time for a new one. I've decided to grab myself a new one since it feels a little less supportive now after my everyday and travel use. This time it will be a full sized one! I'll definately continue to use my travel sized one on trips!

I bought my pillow 10 years ago and I absolutely love it. I can't sleep without it. Most people think that the crunchy hulls will be scratchy or noisy at night. But it's not! It's soft yet firm enough to support my head. I alternate between sleeping on my side and stomach and it conforms perfectly to my head no matter what. I'm buying two more bigger ones right now!
