I love this hanger valet. I live in an old house and the closets are quite small. With the door hanger valet, I am able to hang additional items inside my closet with ease. You don't need screws or nails to install the hanger -- just slip it over the top of the door. I use one of the valets to set out my work outfits for the week. It holds 7-10 outfits easily.
I have had no problems with the device sagging under the weight of items. I've tried using plastic hooks before and they always break. You really need a metal door hanger if you are going to be hanging more than two to three garments.
I will note that on some of most closets, the device has rubbed away some of the paint where it is placed. As I have touch up paint, this hasn't been a massive problem. If you are worried about this, you may need to place a small strip of tape where the metal would rub the door.
