We had a 38L cylinder stainless steel trash can only to have the foot pedal break after only having it for one year. I wanted one bigger and this fit the bill. I am very glad I didn't spend $100+ for another trash can that might break when this one is a 50Liter!! It is basically the same size as the 38L because it doesn't have the inner tub that you have to pull out. Holds the bag in place with a bag clip (great), lid opens nice and big and 13 gallon/Tall Kitchen trash bags fit perfect! Not to mention I like the plastic is very very easy to clean. NO cleaners to buy, just a soapy washcloth. I really got tired of cleaning the stainless steel every day. I don't think it looks as stylish as a stainless steel. . but come on, it is a trash can and I really don't want to call attention to it. So happy I found this one and it was only $40. I agree with almost everyone else that the sticker is extremely difficult to take off! If you just go slow and take your time. . .it does come off eventually. I think it took me like 8 minutes of continuely pulling it off slowly. Even the store sticker price was difficult to get off. Might just be because of the plastic.

I just bought this trash can to replace an old one. It was easy to assemble and works really well. The only complaint I have is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the sticker. Unfortunately, they put the huge sticker right on the front of the trash can. Bottom line: Nice product, lousy sticker.

It took me 3 garbage cans to get the right one and I finally found it. I finally found a trash can that will fill 13 gallons without any mechanisms getting in the way. It's very simple to install bags and you'll enjoy the reliable mechanics. Also a good price.

I love this garbage can. It's so big--The specifications said 13 gallon. I used 13 gallon trash bags in my old can so I thought old can was 13 gallon---Wrong, it must have been an 8 gallon can. There are only 2 of us in the house and we only need to replace the bag once a week. How great is that!!!
I had read the other reviews about the sticker being hard to get off so I covered it with WD-40 & let it sit, then it peeled right off. OXO is a good brand so I'm planning on not buying another kitchen garbage can for 15 years.
